Explained in 60 seconds
The Leonardo DR nano from Oehm and Rehbein is an ultra-light and portable digital X-ray backpack system for veterinary medicine, which consists of a wireless X-ray detector and a notebook.
With a total weight of approximately 9kg, the Leonardo DR nano system is one of the world's lightest portable X-ray solutions. It enables users to perform outpatient digital radiography anytime and almost anywhere, without being hindered by limited freedom of movement or tangled cables.
Thanks to the simple operation, even people with less radiological training can create optimal X-ray images. The integrated X-ray assistant provides additional support with videos for correct patient positioning. The Leonardo DR nano system can even be used in confined spaces, as the X-ray unit and detector communicate wirelessly with the laptop's acquisition software. The safe operating distance between the X-ray detector and laptop can be up to 10 meters.
Once the X-ray has been triggered, the images can be viewed immediately on the laptop and, if required, forwarded to the animal owner or expert consultant via a cloud interface or email.
Thanks to its low weight and volume, the Leonardo DR nano system is versatile and can be used in a veterinary practice, an equine clinic or a university facility.
