The basic module of dicomPACS® is a proven, mature and manufacturer-independent PACS software (picture archiving and communication system) from Oehm and Rehbein, which is used for digital X-ray images in DICONDE format (digital imaging and communication in non-destructive evaluation). The system supports all current standards and can also be expanded on a modular basis.
As dicomPACS® was designed and programmed in close cooperation with representatives from the field of digital radiography in medicine, it was possible to develop a particularly easy and intuitive to use, sophisticated high-tech solution for intelligent image management. The software is responsible for the acquisition (see ORinspect acquisition and control software), processing, analysis, transmission and archiving of digital X-ray images. Any additional documents can also be easily stored in the DICONDE archive.
Sophisticated algorithms for archiving and backup guarantee fast data access, while complying with the highest security standards that also apply in human medicine. The data is immediately available at the click of a mouse.
