Explained in 60 seconds
The Leonardo DR nano from Oehm und Rehbein is an ultra-light and portable digital X-ray backpack system for non-destructive testing (NDT), which consists of a wireless X-ray detector and a notebook.
With a total weight of approximately 9kg, the Leonardo DR nano system is one of the world's lightest portable X-ray solutions. It enables users to perform digital radiography anytime, almost anywhere, without being hindered by limited freedom of movement or tangled cables.
Thanks to its simple operation, even people with less radiological training can create optimal X-ray images. The Leonardo DR nano system can even be used in confined spaces, as the X-ray unit and detector communicate wirelessly with the software on the laptop. The safe operating distance between the X-ray detector and laptop can be up to 10 meters.
The most important features
- The X-ray detector based on a cesium iodide (CsI) scintillator always delivers the best image quality.
- Optimal images are generated even at low dose values (radiation exposure).
- The X-ray image is available shortly after triggering (max. 8 seconds).
- The compact design ensures optimum portability.
- The simple and intuitive operation of the ORinspect recording and control software enables an efficient workflow.
- The X-ray system can be conveniently controlled via a wireless remote control.
